Social Capital
From Metapedia
Social capital: The aggregate of the actual or potential resources which are linked to possession of a durable network of more or less institutionalized relationships of mutual acquaintance and recognition, which provides each of its members with the backing of the collectively-owned capital, a “credential” which entitles them to credit, in the various senses of the word. Social capital is made up of social obligations (“connections”), which are convertible, in certain conditions, into economic capital and may be institutionalized in the forms of a title of nobility.
